The Forbidden Forest

The Forbidden Forest of forgotten lore
Whispering winds knocking at man's door
Knights with shining armor riding off to save the day
Going in to slay the dragon but they give up and run away
Mist rising upwards wrapping around the forest like a snake
Baring its venoms fangs awhile beautiful maidens are tied to stakes
Bats flying backwards across the Moon
All of this speaks sadly of our doom
Footsteps echoing out of the mist
Surrounding us as we clinch up our fists
The haunted melody of deadly cries
Enter us through our inhuman eyes
The evil that walks about slithers inside us through our mouths
We wither, we die, we cry, we sigh as the four winds turn south
Whatever enters this place does not leave
Except a headless rider who was punish for his misdeeds
